How to request deletion

1. Email thebearing@ngandiweb.com from the email address registered to your account.
2. Use the subject “The Bearing account deletion request” and include your account email and, if known, your handle. Do not send your password.
3. Our support team will verify ownership and reply with the next steps. We respond within 30 days, usually within 48 hours, as stated in our privacy policy.

If the button does not open an email app, copy the address above into your email service. If you no longer have access to your registered address, contact the same inbox for help verifying ownership.

Sending a request does not immediately delete your account. Support will confirm when deletion is complete.

Data covered by your request

Your request covers your login and profile, manuscripts and published content, uploaded files, reading history and progress, saved lists, follows, comments, and preferences associated with your account. It also covers associated contact records held by our service providers.

Deletion is permanent once completed. Save any writing you want to keep before requesting it.

Timing and any retained records

Support will confirm the deletion schedule after verifying your identity. The 30-day response window is not a promise that all copies have already been erased.

If transaction records must be retained for tax or accounting obligations, or specific records are needed for fraud prevention or an unresolved dispute, support will explain which records are retained, why, and the applicable retention period. Backup copies may remain until the relevant provider’s backup retention period expires; support will confirm that period for your request. We do not promise immediate removal from backups.
